Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to pipes, drains, valves, and fixtures efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
- Provide accurate estimates to clients and manage project timelines effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform regular system inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent future issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Master or Journeyman Plumber’s license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of pipe materials, tools, and modern plumbing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
