Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water lines, waste pipes, and gas lines.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and identify issues within complex plumbing systems efficiently and accurately.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and state plumbing codes in DC and Virginia.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional estimates.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines and ensure projects are completed on budget.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Plumber License (District of Columbia or Virginia).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
- Tools: Possession of a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
