Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and waste water disposal.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply systems, and waste and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues to provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local and state building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work and pricing to clients.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers on larger construction sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in San Francisco.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments and lift heavy materials.
