Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Installation: Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, drainage systems, and piping networks according to local codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing clear explanations of issues and cost estimates.
- Tools & Equipment: Utilize modern plumbing tools, video inspection equipment, and trenchless technology to ensure efficient repairs.
- Code Compliance: Adhere to all state and local building codes and safety regulations during every project.
- Estimates: Assist in preparing accurate work orders and material estimates for supervisor review.
Qualifications
- License: Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Skills: Proficiency in copper, PVC, PEX, and steel pipe fitting; knowledge of gas lines is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
