Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and piping systems to code.
- Lead service calls, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and site.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installations and repairs.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Plumber License issued by the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional plumbing experience in residential and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
