Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Execute high-quality installations and repairs for plumbing systems, including water heaters, drains, and piping.
- Diagnosis: Accurately diagnose complex plumbing issues using modern diagnostic tools and manual inspection.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local city codes, state regulations, and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous communication with clients, explaining technical issues in layman's terms.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of parts and materials used during jobs and order supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Assist junior technicians when necessary and contribute to a positive shop culture.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipefitting, soldering, threading, and blueprints reading.
- Tools: Own a fully functional personal tool belt and reliable transportation.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on job sites.
- Background: Clean criminal background check and drug screen required.
