Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing systems including water lines, drains, fixtures, and HVAC integration
- Install, maintain, and upgrade commercial plumbing infrastructure in high-rise buildings
- Lead emergency response teams for burst pipes and critical failures across all boroughs
- Train junior plumbers on NYC plumbing codes and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and tool maintenance for mobile service vehicles
- Collaborate with contractors and architects on new construction projects
- Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations
Qualifications
- Valid NYC Master Plumber license (MP-001) required
- Minimum 7 years hands-on experience in commercial/residential plumbing
- Expertise in trenchless pipe lining and hydro-jetting technologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proven track record of emergency service delivery in urban environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Clean driving record and valid Class B CDL preferred
