Responsibilities
- Complex Repairs: Perform advanced leak detection, pipe repair, and fixture installation for commercial and residential clients.
- System Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on large-scale plumbing systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to California plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnosis: Utilize video inspection cameras and pressure testing equipment to identify hidden issues.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service to clients during off-hours, answering questions and explaining solutions clearly.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage parts inventory to ensure necessary supplies are available for night shift calls.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports and timesheets for every service call.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid California Master Plumber License (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience, including commercial projects.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Skills: Proficiency with copper, PVC, PEX, and stainless steel piping; strong knowledge of water heaters and backflow prevention.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
