Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform complex plumbing repairs, including leak detection, pipe replacement, and fixture installation, with a focus on after-hours service.
- Emergency Response: Quickly assess and resolve critical plumbing emergencies (burst pipes, major leaks) during the night shift to minimize property damage.
- Customer Service: Deliver premium customer experiences by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring the job site is left clean and organized.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and inspect company vehicles and plumbing tools to ensure they are in peak working condition.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local San Antonio plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete service tickets and time logs for billing and payroll purposes.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Master or Journeyman Plumber License issued by the State of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and dispatchers.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal transportation to and from job sites.
