Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, drains, and fixtures.
- Respond to emergency service calls and urgent repairs during the night shift to minimize downtime for clients.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using specialized tools and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local Washington, DC plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper tool organization and site cleanup.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors and dispatchers to coordinate service schedules.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent state certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of pipefitting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
