Responsibilities
- Diagnose, install, and repair complex plumbing systems, including gas lines, water supply, and drainage.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine optimal layout.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and code compliance.
- Lead junior plumbers and apprentices, providing technical guidance and training.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new projects and prepare detailed quotes.
- Ensure all work adheres strictly to state and local safety regulations and building codes.
- Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Current California Master Plumber License (or Journeyman with significant project management experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
- Strong working knowledge of local plumbing codes (Title 24) and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on job sites.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
