Responsibilities
- Perform skilled plumbing repairs, including pipe leaks, fixture replacements, and water heater installations.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues using modern diagnostic tools and blueprints.
- Ensure all work complies with local San Francisco building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication regarding job progress and costs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site at all times.
- Train and mentor junior apprentices and helpers as required.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience in a commercial or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of copper, PVC, PEX piping, and drainage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in tight or confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
