Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective, cost-efficient solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical details to clients clearly.
- Manage inventory and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and building regulations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
