Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing systems, including commercial and residential piping.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure code compliance and system efficiency.
- Lead and mentor apprentice plumbers and junior technicians.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new projects and service calls.
- Adhere strictly to local, state, and national plumbing codes (DC and VA).
Qualifications
- Valid Master Plumber License (District of Columbia and Virginia preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
