Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of weekend assignments
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and order materials for upcoming weekend projects
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of verifiable electrical experience with weekend shift availability
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- Proven expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in using multimeters, clamp meters, and circuit testers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Excellent physical condition and ability to work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
