Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Install new piping systems, fixtures, and appliances according to local building codes.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on heating and cooling systems.
- Interact professionally with customers to explain problems and provide cost estimates.
- Ensure all work areas are cleaned up and comply with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Mentor junior plumbing apprentices and apprentices.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
