Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing systems, including residential and commercial units.
- Install and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and appliances such as water heaters and boilers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local San Diego building codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding project timelines and costs.
- Perform regular maintenance checks to prevent future leaks and system failures.
- Lead junior technicians and mentor apprentices on proper techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Plumber License (Journeyman or Master level required).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting, welding, and drainage systems.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability for overtime and emergency calls when needed.
