Responsibilities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Prepare sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Perform site cleanup and waste disposal following OSHA standards
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Maintain accurate daily progress logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Reliable transportation to job sites across KC metro
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be available for 10-hour shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
