Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation, tool management, and project setup
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management procedures
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in low-visibility conditions
- Experience with concrete work, scaffolding, and excavation preferred
- Flexibility to work varying night shift schedules (10-12 hour shifts)
