Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) under supervision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Perform night-shift-specific duties like traffic control and security monitoring
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain productivity and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 6 PM - 6 AM)
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
