Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and earthwork operations per engineering blueprints
- Install concrete forms, rebar, and pour foundations for commercial structures
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Perform quality checks on completed work before next shift handover
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience with night shift documentation
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic survey equipment
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of Minnesota building codes and safety regulations
- Successful background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Reliable transportation to 4:00 AM start times
