Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and debris removal at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with foundation work, concrete pouring, and framing
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and safety documentation
- Work collaboratively in all weather conditions during night shifts
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Pass background/drug screening
