Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation at construction sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with excavation, concrete pouring, and structural assembly
- Maintain site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Operate machinery including forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools
- Prepare work areas, clean debris, and maintain organized job sites
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience operating construction machinery (forklift, excavator preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in diverse weather conditions
- Flexibility to work extended overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
