Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling per blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators, compactors) with precision and certification compliance
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders in skilled trade installations and structural work
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards through proper PPE usage and hazard mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Support concrete pouring, rebar installation, and finish work during overnight shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or skilled trade experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in extreme conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment operation
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM) with weekend rotation flexibility
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to read basic blueprints and technical schematics
