Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized job sites
- Perform heavy lifting, trenching, and excavation support under supervision
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Support concrete pouring, scaffolding setup, and demolition tasks
- Maintain accurate timecards and daily progress documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
