Responsibilities
- Perform Installations: Execute residential and commercial electrical wiring, panel upgrades, and fixture installations according to blueprints and specifications.
- System Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults and faults in lighting systems, outlets, and appliances efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and local NEC codes to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service to clients, explaining technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Tool Management: Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition, reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license are mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
