Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during overnight shifts
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and demolition
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise execution
- Participate in emergency response for weather-related site issues
- Complete daily timecards and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for overnight shifts (7 PM - 5 AM)
- Basic understanding of construction tools and materials
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Tennessee state residency required (for local projects)
