Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Construct and install concrete forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Perform material transportation and staging operations during low-traffic hours
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks and report safety hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficient with power tools and hand equipment
- Strong focus on safety and incident prevention
- Reliable transportation to job sites in KC metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
