Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks during night shifts
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site cleanup
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment functionality
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans precisely
- Manage material inventory and coordinate deliveries
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain site documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean record
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (excavator/bulldozer preferred)
- Physical stamina for 8-hour night shifts in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work at heights
- Reliable transportation to job sites across SF
