Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and backfilling operations under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steers, excavators, and compactors with certification
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, safety barriers, and temporary structures
- Maintain job site cleanliness and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on concrete pouring and material handling
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and safety hazard assessments
- Document daily progress reports and material usage logs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction math
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification required
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
