Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during night shifts
- Operate construction equipment including jackhammers, saws, and power tools safely
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, demolition, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise construction tasks
- Manage inventory and organize tools/materials for efficient workflow
- Participate in emergency response protocols for on-site incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and best practices
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool operation skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Kansas City metro area
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexible schedule with consistent night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM)
