Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, concrete pouring, and structural assembly tasks per blueprints
- Safely operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with proper certifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with OSHA-compliant safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen to meet project deadlines
- Perform site inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to environmental regulations for waste disposal and recycling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
