Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Perform night shift duties (6 PM - 4 AM) in all weather conditions
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support emergency response and stormwater control during inclement weather
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding positions
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and hazard recognition
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
