Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling tasks on active construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under OSHA guidelines
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain site safety protocols and equipment functionality
- Load/unhaul materials and maintain organized work zones
- Complete daily progress reports and quality inspections
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors for task prioritization
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficient with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible availability for 8-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic blueprint reading skills
