Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during night shifts
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) safely and efficiently under night conditions
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project milestones
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and basic repairs
- Manage material inventory and staging for next-day operations
- Document daily progress and safety incidents using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Experience operating heavy machinery (CPC/CEP card preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
