Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and excavation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely including jackhammers, saws, and demolition equipment
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols
- Perform concrete work, framing support, and finish labor under supervision
- Collaborate with team members to meet tight night shift project deadlines
- Conduct site inspections and report maintenance issues to foremen
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for task execution
Qualifications
- No construction experience required—entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Flexible availability for night shifts (typically 7 PM - 7 AM)
