Responsibilities
- Execute heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation during night operations
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment safely
- Install/assemble temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Perform concrete work, demolition, and excavation support under night supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades (electricians, plumbers) for seamless workflow
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and site-specific emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record (for equipment operation)
- Availability to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4:30 AM), weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory control
- Reliable transportation to sites in Columbus and Illinois
