Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial/industrial electrical systems including transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to execute precise electrical layouts
- Perform emergency troubleshooting and rapid diagnostics for critical facility systems
- Ensure strict OSHA and NFPA compliance while documenting all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale construction and retrofit projects
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Mentor junior electricians and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience with valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70E arc flash safety training
- Proficiency in reading complex electrical schematics and CAD drawings
- Strong diagnostic skills for high-voltage systems and industrial machinery
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility environments with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle confined spaces, heights, and extended overnight shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for emergency call-outs
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation preferred
