Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pours, rebar installations, and structural framing per blueprints
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons) with complex installations and measurements
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Maintain detailed daily work logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class A or B driver's license preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience operating power tools and heavy machinery
- Strong attention to detail and blueprint reading skills
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts when required
