Responsibilities
- Execute precise earthwork, demolition, and site preparation tasks under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with OSHA compliance
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized inventory at job sites
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work zones
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or vocational training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and emergency procedures
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and inventory management
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
