Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation under night shift conditions
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) and power tools with precision and safety awareness
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with skilled tradespersons (carpenters, electricians, welders) on complex builds
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Document daily progress, material usage, and safety observations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong understanding of safety procedures for night operations
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
