Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and comply with OSHA standards
- Perform site inspections and report structural irregularities promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and withstand 8+ hours of physical labor
- Class B CDL preferred (not required) for equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to off-site locations in Virginia Beach
- Availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with weekly rotation
