Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and concrete pouring operations during overnight shifts
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and compaction equipment
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet aggressive project deadlines
- Participate in emergency response protocols for overnight site incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical labor
- Class B CDL or forklift certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and night shift availability essential
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
