Responsibilities
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers) for excavation, demolition, and material prep
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with site preparation and task completion
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous waste
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing operations under supervision
- Conduct nightly site inspections to ensure compliance with blueprints and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or manual labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory tracking
- Flexibility to work 6 PM - 2 AM with rotating weekend shifts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shift reliability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
