Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks under supervision
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with certification
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment setup
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions for precise task execution
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex construction phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform strenuous physical activity
- Class B CDL or heavy equipment operation certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexible night shift availability
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
