Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation during night shift hours
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) and power tools under supervision
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical labor
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
