Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment before and after shifts
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, welders)
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
- Maintain clean, organized job site conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., forklift)
