Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks during night shifts
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts with proper certification
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and daily safety inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong understanding of construction blueprints and safety standards
- Availability for consistent night shift schedule (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Class A CDL preferred (not required)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Texas as needed
