Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling on active construction sites
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and site preparation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet night shift project milestones
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support emergency site repairs during overnight operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or industrial labor experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites across KC MO/TX region
