Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, saws) and equipment safely
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Adapt to changing project requirements and weather conditions
- Complete daily shift reports and communicate with supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide on-the-job training
- Must be 18+ years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to job sites across New Orleans
- Willingness to work nights (typically 6 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
